Natural Coffins and Caskets

All of our coffins are made from low impact, sustainably harvested materials. They are handcrafted without the use of metal, so they are appropriate for Jewish burials as well. Our coffins are environmentally-friendly and biodegradable.

Our adult coffins are designed to American standards and weight-tested to 330 lbs. Many of our coffins are available in baby and child sizes as well as adult sizes

Coffins have four sides. Caskets have six or eight sides.

Final Footprint

These coffins are lined with soft, organic kapok fabric. This line is designed exclusively for Final Footprint based on 9 years of customer feedback and the availability of new, environmentally-friendly materials. These coffins are handcrafted in Indonesia by family-run companies. Choose from Bamboo, Banana, Rattan or Sea Grass shown below.

Banana Leaf Coffins

These coffins are made of coiled banana leaves with rattan and seagrass accents. They are available in two colors: cerise and ebony. These coffins are also available in two styles: split lid and full lid.

Banana

These coffins are made of coiled banana leaves with seagrass accents. The banana leaves that are used in this process are naturally shed every year, then twisted into ‘ropes’ for weaving.
